2007 YUKON UFO SIGHTINGS

25-Jan-2007, Tagish Lake, Yukon: (9:30 pm)
A woman and her husband saw a meteor(ite) from their home in the Taku Subdivision at Tagish Lake. She said there was one object, green, and it was very, very bright. It fell behind the mountain (they don't know the name of the mountain) that they can see through their window from their couch. They heard no noise but since they were inside, they may have missed any noise there might have been. They saw the suspected meteor(ite) for about 3 seconds. It traveled in a straight line and she said she thought it had a tail, rather than leaving a trail.

Mar-2007, Dawson City, Yukon: (11:30pm)

I am writing. As I watched tonight’s program on Nedaa on APTN (on Jan 31, 2008). I live in Dawson City.

When I saw what at first what I thought was a satellite, it was in mid-March of 2007. It must have been around 11:30pm. A friend and I had left the Westminister Hotel aka 'The Pit', we were taking our off-sales to the north end to drop off at a friends place. We left 'The Pit', heading north. Once we got to the end of the building we cut across the empty parking lot towards the Downtown Hotel. We considered taking the alleyway, but I had an uneasy feeling so we continued on to 2nd avenue heading north. Once we got around the front of the building (DT Hotel) chatting to one another, I looked up and saw at what I first thought was a star. Then I realized that it was not normal to see two stars directly above the Moosehide Slide. I didn't say anything to my friend, nor did I try to direct her attention to look up. As I knew that there could not be two stars, one directly above the other, I assumed that it was a satellite. Then it suddenly started to go back very swiftly into the sky. As I walked I watched it turn from was seemed a star, into a speck and disappear straight out into the sky. By this time we were almost at the end of the block. So what I feel I witnessed; the duration time took around 5 minutes.

This is my story and that is what I saw.

21-Aug-2007, Whitehorse, YT: (1:50 am) HBCC UFO

My friend and I were driving down from a lookout on the road just south of town. We were out trying to see the Northern lights and the stars. We saw a few shooting stars and lots of satellites, etc. As we were driving down the road, I stopped again because I wanted to see if the Northern lights were out. We got out and we were staring upwards, facing almost due north. Then suddenly a very bright white light came through. It was like a perfect circle and was nothing like a shooting star. I doubt it could have been a meteor as there was no tail behind it and, unlike a shooting star, it didn't seem to cross the sky. Instead it grew very bright and seemed almost like it was coming right down on us. Imagine someone shining a light down on you from a deck or patio as you stand underneath then extending their arm down so the light goes closer to you. This was very bright and was moving slowly. It stopped for a bit and seemed to kind of hover, then started moving slowly westward. Then it disappeared the same way as it had come. The light was very white and there was a ring of light around the object, like a halo almost. It appeared, then became increasingly bright to a point where we had to shield our eyes for a second then stayed that way then slowly started moving and, as it kept moving, it disappeared. The whole thing lasted about 20 seconds. I have no idea what it was and if anyone knows of any good, well-documented UFO sites please repost this. I am curious if anyone else saw anything. Cheers.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

9-Nov-2007, between Five Fingers Rapids and Pelly Crossing, YT: (4:30 to 6:30 am)

Reported Nov 11, 2007

Good Evening,

I spent the last two days debating whether or not to share my experience with UFOBC. I have decided to share it as I cannot seem to surpress the image from my mind. Here goes,

My co-worker and I had just returned from Kamloops, BC and had arrived in Whitehorse fairly late (12:00am) and because we had a meeting in Pelly Crossing the following afternoon, we had decided to drive straight home so that we could get some extra sleep in the morning so away we went. We had a pretty uneventful trip from Whitehorse to Carmacks however, we had just arrived at five finger rapids for a short bathroom break. After admiring the stars, we hit the road. Shortly after our departure from five finger rapids, my co-worker seemed a little uneasy and kept looking in the side view mirror and turning to look out the back window, I kept driving along not paying much mind to it. However, she repeatedly looked out the windows and it was when we had just passed Tatchun Creek Campground when I asked her what was up. She had told me that there is something following us and that she had noticed it when we left five finger rapids. She added that it was a light of some kind and it would change locations from time to time as we traveled along. She explained to me how it had been behind us when she noticed it, and a few minutes later, it was more to her side of the vehicle and at the moment she was explaining it, she told me it was now on my side. I dared not to look as I was then getting scared, so I continued driving as she monitored the location and distance of the ever moving "light". It was not until we had reached the long stretch in Minto when I had noticed the bright white light in the hills. I asked my co-worker what it was and she said that was what was following us. I sped up a little but could not help but look over at any chance I had. My co-worker said "It's hard not to look at it, it's kind of mesmerizing" It was far too close to be a star, it almost looked as if it where a loader on top of the hills, it was like one bright headlight or something. We then reached the end of the stretch and started making our way up the hill. Nearing the top of the hill, my headlights were shining in the directions of the object. It was then when it disappeared over the hill as if it were hiding. As we started turning and my headlights were moving away from the direction the object was in, it reappeared and began to come over the hill and hover downwards. The trees directly under the object were glowing which confirmed that it was not a star nor a loader/vehicle. It was definitely a flying object of some sort. It stayed on the right side of us all the way to Pelly staying lower to the hills. When we had arrived in Pelly Crossing, the object was hovering to the northeast of Pelly. When we turned up the Jon Ra Subdivision in Pelly, it then shot right across the sky going north (As if it were heading to Dawson), that was when I freaked out and stopped at the nearest house and turned the vehicle off. My co-worker and I stepped out of the vehicle to look at it. It began to move in small circular motions for a few seconds and then stayed in one spot. We could hear the object, it was almost the sound of an idling car but very faint with a slight high pitched squeal. As we looked at the object, I noticed the shape and colors of it. It was a triangular shape with a large "headlight" on the top of it, two blinking red lights on both sides of it and a faint blue beam under it. This all occurred between 4:30-6:00am on November 9, 2007.

I don't know what you want with this story but I wish to remain anonymous.

I have tried as best I could to make it as accurate as possible but Publisher is very limited. The road drawing one is when I noticed it in Minto. It was very bright, almost like a police car spotlight. People have told me about a sighting in Nunavut last week and apparently there was a video recording of it that matches our description! Scary stuff!
