Dear Sir or Madam;

I am inquiring about the membership of APRO. I would like to know if there are any special requirements to join. Also anything else I should know.

Last year (1967) sometime between June and August we saw something strange. The reason I do not know the month is at the time it didn’t seem important. Between those months we lived some miles out of Quesnel, in a logging camp. I do know it was about 12:30 am on a Sunday morning. We were returning from a friend’s place, when about 20 miles north of Quesnel my husband drew my attention to a light in the sky. It was a very bright red-orange. It seemed to be coming from a cloud, not the ground. It lit up quite a portion of the sky. The bright light did not come at regular intervals. We watched this for maybe 5 minutes. Some ways up a side road which led to camp we stopped. I know we were going to get out to look at the light but I don't remember if we did. The light did not return after we stopped. It may have been something else but I don't know what.

Thank you for listening to me. I will expect a letter soon telling me of your organization.

Sincerely yours,

Mrs. Linda Coldwell
