Oct. 27, 1967 - 6:30 p.m., J. Moore, 1824
Chestnut Street, Victoria, B.C., was on
Heywood Avenue, when, as he looked at the
evening star, he saw close to it a very bright
silver object streaking from west to east far
faster than a jet plane. From horizon to
horizon, its passage took less than one
minute. The object emitted no noise. The
object travelled in a straight line. It was
definitely illuminated, and larger and faster
than a jet-powered aircraft. No further
details are obtainable.
