Five Spheres Darting Above Saanich Inlet

Saanich Inlet, BC - October 1967

U.F.O. (CAPIC), Vol. 2, No. 1, Sep-Oct 1967

Oct. 18 or 19, 1967 - Miss Mildred Sherrin, North Saanich, Victoria, B.C., was less than half way across Saanich Inlet on the ferry from Brentwood to Mill Bay, in her car with her sister. Looking south-southwest, they suddenly saw five spheres darting hither and thither in and out of the clouds at great speeds, and all apparently independent of each other. Three were like transparent glass with a bright light inside; the other two were similar, except they had a red light inside. The sighting occurred about 10:45 a.m. and lasted around two minutes. The objects appeared to be to the east of Mount Finlayson and perhaps a little further south. They were smaller than the fingernail of one's little finger held at arm's length. The weather was overcast. The spheres kept reasonably close to one another, and the two red ones seemed lower than the three white ones. They then suddenly disappeared into the clouds.
