WITNESS: Arthur Gilbert
AGE: 30-ish OCCUPATION:
Project Accountant
LOCATION: 5 miles south
of Quesnel, British Columbia, Canada.
DATE: July 11, 1967
TIME: 11:40 p.m.
OBJECT SIGHTED: Systematic
on and off Blinking Lights. No real sighting of
UFO as the general term implies, but nonetheless
something which I, as an observer, cannot
explain.
Light (white in colour), on for
approximately 1/2 second, off for 1/2 second -
on 1/2 sec., then off for perhaps 2 - 3 - 4 - 5
sec. Again on for the same intervals as above.
This sequence was repeated four times across the
southern sky at an altitude of approximately
2000 to 3000 ft. above sea level (relative
height because it came from behind a local
prominent mountain) - (Dragon Mt., 4101').
Estimated (a real guess) 5 to 10
miles distant. No clouds in sky; no sound heard
at all. Travelled across almost all of southern
sky, as I was sitting on lake shore with 1/4 to
1/2 mile of water before me.
Also sighted (obtained from
Province paper) in Cache Creek area the same
evening.
Not reported to any publication
by me.

control of all my faculties!)
