Mr. Hugh Dickson
North Vancouver Citizen
North Vancouver, B.C., Canada.

Dear Mr. Dickson:

Thank you so much for your courtesy and the interest shown in our investigation of the McNicol/Miller photos which were printed in your newspaper on 10 August 1967. Your kind cooperation in answering our questions and providing us with general information pertaining to the case is very much appreciated, and without it we certainly could not conduct an objective or accurate investigation of the case.

We are in touch, both via mail and telephone, with the McNicol and Miller families, and it appears they will cooperate with us in providing the negatives (six of them) for our NICAP photo experts and those on the staff of the government University of Colorado UFO Project staff to analyse. We have informed both families that upon completion of the separate analyses of their photographs, the negatives will be returned to them in good condition, accompanied by reports of the results of the tests involved. Due to your own interest in the case, we will also advise you at once just as soon as we receive any word on the analysis reports.

Enclosed is some information concerning our organization, its purposes and policies. We hope you find it informative, and if we may be of any further assistance to you in any respect, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. Too, should any further reports of UFO sightings or photographs come to your attention, or to the attention of your staff, we would be most grateful if you would refer the witnesses to our address listed here.

Without the cooperation of objective members of the news media, such as yourself, our work would be most difficult, and we cannot emphasize our appreciation of your kind and most responsive attitude.

Please keep in touch with us at your convenience. Again, our sincere thanks for your help.

Cordially,

Mrs. Lois M. Kemper
