PORT MCNEILL - If Wally Wallace's dog hadn't
needed what he described as a breath of fresh air
at 1:30 in the morning, he and his family would
still be doubtful about what they had heard about
flying saucers. And, if his sense of delicacy had
not caused him to elevate his eyes from the dog as
it went about its breathing, he would never have
seen the strange light in the sky.
Wally wakened the other members
of his family and they all stood for nearly an
hour and watched a cone-shaped object with red
and green lights as it cruised back and forth
over the bay.
