Place: Mt. Tolmie, Victoria,
B. C.
Weather: Clear, starry.
Observer: Ron Turner (17)

Description: Flashing red
light surrounded by a circular glow. Hovered
above Mt. Tolmie for 2 minutes, then moved
slowly NNW. Made no sound.
As it moved off, it was seen as a group of
three lights - two red, and a white one at the
rear. The leading red light flashed or
pulsated slowly about 1-second intervals
slower than when first seen. Second red light
was steady.
Twice the object "jumped sideways" a short
distance and then continued in original
direction.
