Construction worker George Kozuh and his wife
had just finished supper and were outside in the
garden when a shiny object was spotted to the
east. Kozuh novelly described it as "shaped like
a turtle with a hump in the middle and a tail
behind. It shone like nothing you could imagine.
The sky was clear, and this thing, whatever it
was, was not following a fixed course. It seemed
to hover at about 8000 feet then it picked up
speed and seemed to vanish, almost straight up.”
His house guests, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Gordie of
Calgary, and fellow Calgarian Vernon Giles, also
saw the object.
