An “Unidentified Flying Object”
was seen in the skies over Oliver Sunday evening
for a period of about 10 minutes.
Mrs. H. Bolivar said she sighted
what she thinks may have been a spaceship or
other unknown object travelling southwest to
northeast at about 10 p.m. Sunday evening.
The object seemed like it was
being maneuvered, stated Mrs. Bolivar, because
it was not going in a straight line.
Larger than an ordinary star and
a brilliant white, she said the object had an
appearance to an evening star and was visible
for about 10 minutes.
