My brother Dan is
72. Back in the 90s sometime (I assume the earlier
part of), during a period of his life when he
worked at the mill in Powell River BC, he and a
friend saw a black triangle craft. Not the
standard TR3B type you see on TV but a long
triangle shape instead. Others also saw the craft.
It was very, very
windy (maybe November) that night (maybe late
afternoon or early evening). So windy in fact they
could hardly walk and apparently so windy that it
had sunk some boats. The wind was from the west.
He and his buddy, Dave, didn’t see the craft come
in, they only saw it over the mill. He said it was
really big, silent, black and was only doing about
5 or 10 mph. He said that you could see the bottom
of it and that it didn’t have any standard
propulsion system visible. Then he said it slowly
went out over the log booms where the old WW1
ships were (and are still) and in what seems
seconds was over Vancouver Island to the west. He
said it just zipped away. The entire time it was
unaffected by the strong wind.
He also mentions
that it didn’t have any lights on it but when it
flew off, there was a centred red dot at the tail
end of it.
The others that Dan
and Dave spoke with all saw it as well. However
they all said that they saw it circle around the
mill first.
My brother only
talks about this if asked. He’s not one to make
shit up.
His son, Drew, maybe
about 10 or 13 at the time I’m guessing, didn’t
believe the story until Dan and his wife, Sue,
told him to go ask Dave about it if he didn’t
believe it. Dave told Drew the exact same run of
events.
Ironically, Drew was
hunting with Dan up near McBride later on when he
was older and they both saw strange lights far
away that looked like they were coming out of the
forest. Weird.
I’m very jealous.
I’m sorry but I
don’t know what year it was. Maybe someone else
has already reported the same event?
