Flying Saucer Or Jet?

Anybody Else See This ?

“It looked like one of these new jet jobs, with the swept-back wings, flying just under 12,000 feet west of the airport.”

That's the description of an object seen at 9 o'clock last Friday morning near the local airport by Stewart Jackson, an airport employee.

Jackson caught sight of the object, which he said was too far away to distinguish clearly, and immediately called to a number of other men in the administration buildings. But by the time they had come out onto the field – a matter of 25 seconds after the object had been sighted — there was nothing to be seen of it.

The height of the object was estimated at just under 12,000 feet because the height of a cloud bank under which it was moving was known through calculations.

No one at the airport had ever seen such objects flying through the sky before.
