Did anyone notice a very bright star in the sky
on Friday evening? It appeared around 6:30, while the sky was still light, and
moved very slowly westward. It took almost an hour to travel from view. It was
a large star, and very brilliant. No comment has been heard by this reporter
concerning this on either T-V or radio. It does not seem possible that it
would escape attention. It was a very interesting study, and was watched by
this reporter and her husband, until it passed from view.
